On Oct. 26, at 4:40 a.m., Trooper R. Lewis was dispatched to a residence on Aralia Avenue in St. Leonard for the report of a burglary.
Trooper Lewis’ investigation revealed that around 4:20 a.m., a resident of the home awoke to a noise and went to investigate. The victim found Yardell Delontey Gross, 25 of St. Leonard, in their home.
A physical confrontation ensued and the suspect caused a minor injury to the victim’s head. Gross then fled the residence. Charges are pending.
