CALVERT COUNTY, Md. — The Calvert JobSource Mobile Career Center has its 2026 schedule mapped out. This popular resource for job-seekers invites Calvert residents to visit at one of several locations on regular days.
The JobSource Mobile Career Center is meant to help those all over Calvert County as they search for their next role. The Mobile Career Center offers job counseling and resume help, and you can use the center to apply for jobs and connect with Southern Maryland JobSource.
The first JobSource Mobile Career Center day is on Jan. 2, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Twin Beaches Branch. The rest of the schedule is as follows:
- Second Mondays of the month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fairview Branch
- Second Wednesdays of the month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Prince Frederick
- First Fridays of the month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Twin Beaches
- Fourth Thursdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Southern Branch
The mobile career center assists between 1,600 and 1,700 job seekers each year. It’s an Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible vehicle, and part of its aim is to make sure no one is left behind during the job-seeking process.
A mobile center also means that anyone in the county can access the services, instead of having to drive a long distance for services. You can follow all the event dates on Facebook and see the full calendar online.
