On April 19, around 3:45 p.m., emergency crews responded to the 21300 block of Point Lookout Road in Callaway for the report of an accident with injuries.
Authorities arrived on the scene to discover two vehicles involved in the crash. Investigation revealed the female driver of a blue minivan took her eyes of the roadway to reach for a candy bar when she side-swiped two vehicles a navy blue Ford Explorer and a navy blue Toyota Rav4.
The drivers of all three vehicles were not seriously injured and signed treatment refusals.
No word if any charges have been made.
