PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Neither rain, nor sleet, nor a canceled show in Pennsylvania will stop the Lonesome River Band from bringing their signature bluegrass sound to Southern Maryland this weekend.
With their Saturday performance in York, Pa., scrapped, the legendary group is doubling down on their Sunday show at the Calvert Elks Lodge #2620 in Prince Frederick, giving bluegrass fans another reason to dust off their boots and head out for a foot-stomping good time.
Doors open at noon, and the music starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. The band, known for their high-energy picking and tight harmonies, is making the trek just for this show—so local fans won’t want to miss it.
For those worried about missing the Super Bowl, fear not. There’s plenty of time to catch the show, soak in the music, and still make it home for kickoff.
