LA PLATA, Md. — The Charles County Arts Alliance (CCAA) is seeking community input to guide the future of the arts in the county. As part of a three-year strategic initiative called “Arts Vision 2028,” the organization has released the Arts Survey 2024, designed to identify the community’s most pressing needs for arts programming and resources.

The CCAA, established in 1987, serves as the designated arts council for Charles County. Its mission is to stimulate, promote, and provide financial support for the performing, visual, and literary arts throughout the county.

“Arts Vision 2028” begins with a “needs assessment” survey, inviting residents and stakeholders to share their perspectives on what the county’s arts community needs most over the next three years.

Participants are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the survey online at CCAA Arts Survey. The feedback will play a vital role in shaping the organization’s strategies and ensuring the arts continue to thrive in Charles County.

The CCAA’s role as an “umbrella” organization means it supports and unites a broad spectrum of arts initiatives, advocating for local creativity while collaborating with the Maryland State Arts Council.

To learn more about the Charles County Arts Alliance and their work, visit their website or follow them on Facebook.

For residents passionate about the arts, this survey is a chance to contribute to a thriving cultural future in Charles County.
