Chris Milby has joined the Energetics Technology Center as a Research Physicist, where his work will primarily focus on the application of material science in energetics research. “Our team at the Energetics Technology Center continues to grow and I am pleased to welcome Chris aboard,” said Bob Kavetsky, Chief Executive Officer for the Energetics Technology Center.
“Chris recently completed his master’s degree in Physics and is excited to apply this knowledge in a practical way. He will be working closely with researchers at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head on cutting edge energetic material experiments. Mr. Milby received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and his Master of Science degree in Physics, both from Western Illinois University.
The Energetics Technology Center is a private, non-profit enterprise dedicated to growing science and technology in Southern Maryland. It focuses on workforce and economic development in the region and is a catalyst for energetics research and development. The Energetics Technology Center is currently based in La Plata, Maryland.
