At 1:46 a.m. Oct. 22, Deputy Brianne P. Gray, assisted by DFC Gary Ward, was dispersing a large crowd that had gathered in the parking lot across from Catamaran’s Restaurant in Solomons.
An individual approached Dep. Gray and said her friend was drunk and shouldn’t be driving. The officer observed the suspect, later identified as Teresa A. Gilbert, 41, getting into the driver’s seat of a vehicle with the vehicle keys.
DFC Ward asked her to step out of the vehicle and she complied. At this time she also began hollering at her friends and bystanders, yelling obscenities and threatening to harm them.
Gilbert was then removed from the scene and placed under arrest for disorderly conduct.
