The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners announced that county offices will be closed on Monday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day. County offices will reopen Tuesday, July 6, for regular hours.
The Appeal Landfill and all convenience centers will be closed on Sunday, July 4. All sites will be open for regular hours on Monday, July 5.
There will be no public transportation service on Monday, July 5, with regularly scheduled service to resume on Tuesday, July 6.
The three Calvert County senior centers and Calvert Library locations will be closed on Monday, July 5. Meals on Wheels volunteers will deliver meals on July 5.
