The UN promotes peace and security, development, democracy, economic prosperity, global health and human rights around the world, and is vital now more than ever.
The UN Association of the United States has declared “One Humanity, Shared Responsibility” as its theme to bring awareness and support for the global refugee crisis and other humanitarian emergencies around the world for the 2016 United Nations Day.
