WALDORF, Md. — Emergency crews responded overnight to a serious rollover crash on Crain Highway near Cedarville Road that left one person trapped and requiring airlift to a trauma center.
According to dispatch the crash occurred at approximately 1:13 a.m. Sunday. Responding units located a vehicle on its roof and confirmed one occupant trapped inside. Fire and EMS crews from across Charles and Prince George’s counties worked to extricate the patient, who was ultimately medevaced by Maryland State Police Trooper 2 from a nearby landing zone near McKendree Road and Wanada Place.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
