The following were arrested by Maryland State Police and St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Officers during the week of Aug. 20 for warrants and criminal citations.
David Franklin Morgan, 57, of Mechanicsville, was arrested Aug. 23 by Trooper Grimes on a True Bill Indictment for 3rd degree sex offense. Morgan was taken to the detention center and held without bond.
Anthony Tyrone Munford Sr, 32, of Columbia, was arrested Aug. 24 by Trooper Brill on a Howard County Bench Warrant for violation of probation on an assault charge. Munford was taken to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
Charles Roger Wathen, 25, of Ridge, was arrested Aug. 24, by Trooper Brill on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court on a driving while suspended charge. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
Shantay Larkeisha Briscoe, 29 of Lexington Park, was served a Criminal Summons for the charge of Theft over $500. Briscoe, an employee of BJโs Wholesalers, acted with a co-worker to obtain goods valued at more than $500. The investigation and charges were completed by Deputy Michael Harrison.
Richard Ramon Dent, 25 of Mechanicsville, was served a Criminal Summons by Deputy Eric Walker for the charge of possession of marijuana. The charges stem from Deputy Walker encountering Dent to the rear of a Leonardtown Motel. The suspect had three minor children with him and through his investigation, Deputy Walker discovered Dent to be in possession of marijuana.
Daniel Bernard Underwood, 48 of Lexington Park, was served a Criminal Summons for Threats of Arson. Underwood threatened to burn down an apartment building adjacent to where he was residing.
Cheryl Weems-Park Andrews, 58 of Dameron, was served an open warrant for Bad Check. The value of the check was $77.75 and was passed at a Calvert County restaurant. A second warrant was served on Andrews for a bad check that was passed at a Lexington Park establishment. The value of that check was $119.80.ย
Willy Gibson, 45 of Landover, was arrested by Deputy Eric Walker for an outstanding warrant for Failure to follow conditions of probation. The original charge was for Theft under $500.
Samuel M. Goddard, 44 of Mechanicsville, was arrested by Deputy Michael Harrison for an open warrant related to a Sexual Offender Violation. An additional Criminal Summons through the Circuit Court of St. Maryโs County was also served for a hearing on a Violation of Probation.
Joseph Myron Gill, 56 of Mechanicsville, was served a Criminal Summons for Authorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Return a Rental Vehicle. Suspect Gill is awaiting a Preliminary Hearing before the District Court.
Jeffery Scott Berry, 31 of Mechanicsville, was served a Criminal Summons for passing a Bad Check. The check was passed at a Loveville establishment in the amount of $158.30.
Jeremy Michael Hall, 28 of Hollywood, was served a Criminal Summons for Possession of Marijuana and related Paraphernalia.
Lila Nicole Franklin, 33 of Patuxent River, was arrested on a Fugitive Warrant through the State of Texas for โInterfering with Child Custodyโ. Franklin is awaiting extradition. The arrest was made by Deputy Marci Faulkner.
