LEONARDTOWN, Md. — A motor vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer on Point Lookout Road near Lawrence Avenue injured one person this evening, April 26, 2024.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene at approximately 4:55 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found a pickup truck had crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer. Both drivers had exited their vehicles before the crews’ arrival.
EMS evaluated the driver of the pickup on the scene. The driver was then transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for further treatment. The driver of the tractor-trailer refused care.
Use caution in the area and expect delays.
