Firefighters Respond To Kitchen Fire In Dunkirk

DUNKIRK, Md. – Fire and rescue personnel responded to a grease fire at a home on the 3900 block of Lakeside Court on March 1, 2024.

The call came in at approximately 12:38 p.m., and the first crew on the scene requested a working fire dispatch after discovering the kitchen fire.

Firefighters quickly had the fire under control. The Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department’s Engine 61 and Squad 6 assisted with overhaul and ventilation.

Crews operated for approximately one hour on the scene. No injuries have been reported.
