LA PLATA, Md. — With new liquor licenses approved by the Charles County Board of License Commissioners, two restaurants are on their way to Waldorf in 2026. Farmhouse Waldorf and Eggspectation Waldorf are both coming to the new Shops at Fairway Village shopping center, located off Billingsley Road and St. Charles Parkway.

The shopping center is being developed by a joint venture between Baltimore-based MCB Real Estate and Calvert County-based Generation Properties. Once completed, The Shops at Fairway Village will feature 120,000 square feet of grocery, restaurant, and retail space, along with 186 residential units. The development is expected to generate more than 300 jobs, contribute approximately $1.2 million annually to the local real estate tax base, and provide housing for nearly 450 residents.
