Cpl. M. Bomgardner responded to Dresser Drive in Prince Frederick on April 6 and spoke with a man who reported that his dog, a mixed Labrador retriever, had been shot by a pellet gun in the buttocks approximately three days before.
The dog is kept in a fenced in yard.
Cpl. Bomgardner will continue the investigation.
