
UPDATE – 6/7/2024 – 11-Year-Old Succumbs To Injuries Days After Two-Vehicle Collision In Annapolis
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On May 31, 2024 at approximately 7:00 PM Annapolis Police responded to Forest Dr. and S. Cherry Grove Ave for a report of a crash involving two vehicles.
A crash reconstructionist responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation. Upon arrival it was determined that a blue Toyota Highlander was turning left from Forest Drive onto S. Cherry Grove Ave.
The Toyota failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and was struck by a vehicle traveling outbound on Forest Drive. A juvenile passenger in the Toyota sustained life threatening injuries.
The juvenile was airlifted by MSP to Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital in Baltimore. Both drivers and another juvenile in the Toyota were transported to local hospitals.
