On Saturday, June 25, 2011, the Golden Beach Civic Society held their annual 4th of July celebration. This is their largest event of the year and includes a community parade, car show, bake sale, great food, and is finished off with fireworks on the water. The parade ran through the Golden Beach Community and participants included the fire department, rescue squad, local businesses, and residents from the community.
