
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. โ The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum (Pax Museum) is offering free admission for all Great Mills High School students, faculty and staff to its 2nd Annual Heroes Day on Friday, March 30.
Pax Museumโs Heroes Day honors the police and firefighter communities that serve the people of southern Maryland. This year, Pax Museum wants to make Heroes Day a moment of healing, reuniting Great Mills High School students, faculty and staff with first responders who protected and served them in the immediate aftermath of the recent shooting.
Heroes Day activities include First Responder vehicle displays including fire trucks, ambulances, food vendors. An appearance by Pax Museum mascot Oscar Falco. Demonstrations by the Calvert K-9 Rescue Team.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $6 for kids (6-17), students, seniors, active duty military and Pax River Naval Air Museum Association members and kids 5 & under are free as always
Great Mills students, faculty and staff can gain free admission to Heroes Day by showing up in their school โHornetsโ pride gear, or with a school ID
Pax Museum will make a donation to the St. Maryโs County Advanced Life Support Unit for each person who attends Heroes Day in appreciation for the way they supported the St. Maryโs County community this week.
