On January 31 at 12:30 a.m., officers Yates and Clagett conducted a stop in the area of Buds Liquors at 2539 Old Washington Road.
Upon approaching the car, the officers smelled marijuana. Officers recovered $450 worth of marijuana and nearly $360 worth of prescription pills. Sean Gerard Estep, 24 of Waldorf, and Kenyon Stansbury Thomas, 19 of Owings, were arrested and charged with possession of drugs with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
