Waldorf, MD – State authorities are investigating the deliberate torching of a 2011 Infiniti M37X in Charles County. According to the Maryland Fire Marshal’s Office, the incident occurred Monday morning, Jan. 5 shortly after midnight on Hatteras Circle in Waldorf.
“The incendiary fire was ignited in the rear passenger compartment of the vehicle causing approximately $20,000 in damage,” Dfm. Melissa Decker reported. “There were no injuries as a result of the fire.”
Five firefighters from Waldorf were dispatched to the one-alarm blaze and brought the flames under control in five minutes. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
Decker identified Adrian Harris as the vehicle’s owner.
