ย ย Sherman E. Stepneyย 

Huntingtown, MD –ย On January 3, 2016, Deputy J. Migliaccio arrived at the Huntingtown United Methodist Church located on Hunting Creek Road, Huntingtown, in response to a disorderly person at the location. ย 

Sherman E. Stepney, 53, of Lusby was intoxicated and arrested for disorderly conduct.ย 

According to court documents, “Stepney arrived at the Huntingtown United Methodist Church tonight for the safe night’s program. He was extremely intoxicated and under the influenceย of alcohol.”

“I (Dfc.Migliaccio) located Stepney in the bathroom of the church. He was extremely intoxicated and cursed and raised his voice frequently,” according to court documents.

Stepney was transported to the detention center for booking and processing.

Stepney has a court date set for Feb.17 at the Calvert County District Court. Stepney faces a maximum jail sentence of two months in jail and or a maximum fine of $500.ย 

The investigating officer, in this case, was Dfc. Migliaccio from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.ย
