Juvenile violates probation after assaulting fellow student

Great Mills, MD – On Friday, November 13, 2015 at 2:44 pm, Tpr. C. Ditoto responded to St. Mary’s MedStar Hospital for a reported assault. 

Investigation revealed that a juvenile male, 15, of Lexington Park had assaulted a 16 year old juvenile in the cafeteria at Great Mills High School.  Tpr. Ditoto then responded to a residence in Lexington Park and arrested the suspect for Assault Second Degree.  

The juvenile was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing.  Contact was made with the juvenile’s Probation Officer, who advised that the incident had violated the terms of his probation. 

The juvenile was then transported to the Youth Detention Center in Cheltenham.
