LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Residents have a new way to honor the heroes in their lives. A community mural planned for downtown Leonardtown will feature the names of military veterans and first responders, thanks to a tribute project organized by Town Market LLC.

The mural will be painted between Flour Bakery & Donuts and The Rex on Washington Street. For a $25 donation per name, community members can sponsor the inclusion of a loved one’s name—whether they are currently serving, retired, or have passed. All proceeds will support Warfighter Advance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans and first responders recover and thrive after service.
