Leonardtown Wharf To Host Spooktacular Monster Mash Bash

LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Ghouls, goblins, and pint-sized superheroes will take over the waterfront when Leonardtown hosts its annual Monster Mash Bash on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Leonardtown Wharf.

The free community celebration promises an afternoon of frightful fun. Families can enjoy a costume contest, a trick-or-treat trail, art activities, and plenty of food and activity vendors.

The Wharf, located at 22500 Washington Street, will be dressed for the season, inviting visitors to wander a festive trail lined with candy and Halloween décor. Organizers say the event offers a safe space for trick-or-treating and a chance for local businesses to get involved.

Food, activity, and trick-or-treat trail vendors can sign up by contacting Aris Nazarova at 301-475-9791 or by email at aris.nazarova@leonardtownmd.gov.

The Leonardtown Trolley will operate a special route during the event, providing families an easy way to reach the Wharf without the hassle of parking.

Additional details and updates are available on the Monster Mash Bash Facebook event page.
