CALIFORNIA, Md. — LUX Sports Bar & Grill will officially open its doors to the public with a red-carpet grand opening celebration Friday, Jan. 9, marking the debut of a new upscale dining and entertainment destination in Southern Maryland.
The event, set for 4 p.m. to midnight at 22576 MacArthur Blvd., Suite 314, in the San Souci Plaza in California, Md., will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials, live jazz music, champagne toasts and a meet-and-greet with owners G and Lea.
Organizers said the celebration will also include a special guest appearance and the soft launch of exclusive LUX Memberships, which offer founding members early access and special perks.
Guests can enjoy signature cocktails, chef-driven bites and curated food offerings designed to complement the restaurant’s luxury atmosphere. Red carpet photo moments and special surprises are also planned throughout the evening.
“This is the start of something special for our community,” the LUX team said in a recent Facebook post. “We’ve spent months creating a space designed for unforgettable nights, elevated hospitality and meaningful connections.”
The grand opening celebration encourages attendees to dress in black and gold or red-carpet attire.
LUX Sports Bar & Grill, which held a sold-out soft opening in December, positions itself as a new hub for elevated experiences, memorable nights and community connection in the California area.
