On Nov. 19, at 8:15 p.m., Trooper First Class Murphy stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 south at Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick.ย
The driver, Jeffrey M. Jordan, 29 of St. Maryโs City, was arrested for driving under the influence.ย A search revealed that he was also in possession of heroin and related drug paraphernalia.ย During his processing, it was learned that he had stolen items from Solomons True Value and sold them at a pawn shop.ย After this was verified, Jordan was additionally charged with theft over $1000.ย The stolen items were recovered from the pawn shop and returned to the owner.ย
He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
