On September 6, 2015, during a patrol, Deputy S. Tirpak observed a suspect that appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
The suspect was seen in the area of 21000 Bunker Hill Drive (Nicolet Park) in Lexington Park. Upon further observation, Deputy Tirpak located drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
The suspect, Michael R. Herndon, age 30 of Piney Point, was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with possessing a Controlled Dangerous Substance of Schedule I: Heroin and Three Counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
