Man charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest

Lexington Park, MD – On February 10, Corporal D. Corcoran responded to the 21000 block of Morris Drive in Lexington Park for the report of an assault.

The victim stated that Delante Anthony Moore, age 33, of Mechanicsville, arrived at the victim’s residence uninvited and requested to see his daughter. Moore sustained a cut on his hand from a fight with another male who was also visiting the victim. At the request of the victim, Moore was asked to leave by Cpl. Corcoran. After being asked to leave several times and refusing, Moore was placed under arrest.

After resisting arrest, Moore was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
