On Oct. 1, at 1:45 p.m., TFC J. Stern responded to the 29000 block of Oak Road in Mechanicsville for the reported malicious destruction of property under $100.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 66 of Mechanicsville, and the female complainant, 61 of Mechanicsville. Both complainants advised their mailboxes were damaged between 8 p.m. on Sept. 30, and 2 p.m. on Oct. 1.
Neighborhood checks were conducted in an attempt to obtain suspect information, but were met with negative results.
Damage to the two mailboxes was estimated at $75. The investigation continues.
