At 6:06 p.m. Sept. 15, members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to Mr. Tire, located at 10398 Southern Maryland Blvd. in Dunkirk, for the report of an armed robbery.
An employee of the business advised Det. Vladimir Bortchevsky that at about 5:59 p.m. two black males entered the business.
One black male was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 150-160 pounds, some facial hair, wearing a navy blue t-shirt, green tie-dyed jean shorts and was in possession of a black revolver type handgun, which he pointed at the employee telling him not to move.
The second black male suspect, described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall, having patchy facial hair, wearing a black skull cap, white tank t-shirt, and black socks, jumped over the counter and struck the employee in the right eye with his fist, causing a bruise.
The employee was ordered to the ground while the first suspect removed money from the register.
Both suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction in a silver, older model four-door hatchback passenger vehicle.
