The Charles County Sheriff’s Office conducted a warrant sweep between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m. July 28 in the La Plata and Indian Head districts.
Eighteen warrants and six criminal summonses were served and two detainers were filed on suspects who were found to be incarcerated in other jurisdictions.
The Warrant/Fugitive, Child Support, Domestic Violence and Juvenile Intervention units, police communications officers and the Maryland State Police participated in the operation.
