One Flown Out After T-Bone Collision With School Bus On Chancellors Run Road

GREAT MILLS, Md. – Today, at approximately 3:00 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the serious motor vehicle accident involving a school bus on Chancellors Run Road in the area of Buck Hewitt Road.

Crews arrived to find the T-bone style collision with one male passenger trapped in the sedan. Firefighters extracted the subject after popping the door open.

Reporting no injuries on the occupied school bus #647. Medical units on the scene requested a MEDEVAC for the single patient.

The patient was transported by ambulance to Captain Walter Francis Duke Regional Airport to the Maryland State Police hanger. MSP Trooper 7 will transport the patient to a local trauma center.
