LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Still holding onto some unresolved feelings this Valentine’s Day? A local animal welfare group is offering a humorous way to let go — with help from a litter box and a few very willing cats.
The fundraiser invites donors to submit their ex’s name in the comments section of the donation link. On Valentine’s Day, the shelter will post photos of the finished “masterpieces” to social media.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help support the shelter’s operations, including food, medical care, and adoption programs.
The fundraiser is open through Valentine’s Day, and participation is optional, anonymous, and entirely tongue-in-cheek.
