Antonio Dade

Leonardtown, MD – On Wednesday, Oct. 18, Cpl. Snyder of the St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office responded to a location on Leonard Hall Drive for a report of an individual acting aggressive and to conduct a check on the individual’s welfare.ย ย  Upon arrival Snyder made contact with the suspectโ€”identified as Antonio Dade, 19 of Capitol Heights.ย 

During the contact, Dade allegedly struck Snyder.ย  Dade was subsequently arrested and charged with second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest.

According to information on file in the Maryland court system, Dade will go before a judge Nov. 2 for a bail review. A hearing on the charges he faces is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 21 in District Court.
