Antonio Dade
Leonardtown, MD – On Wednesday, Oct. 18, Cpl. Snyder of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a location on Leonard Hall Drive for a report of an individual acting aggressive and to conduct a check on the individual’s welfare. Upon arrival Snyder made contact with the suspect—identified as Antonio Dade, 19 of Capitol Heights.
During the contact, Dade allegedly struck Snyder. Dade was subsequently arrested and charged with second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest.
According to information on file in the Maryland court system, Dade will go before a judge Nov. 2 for a bail review. A hearing on the charges he faces is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 21 in District Court.
