CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. — A Chesapeake Beach woman with a documented history of repeated law enforcement contact and emergency service calls is facing new criminal charges after investigators say she violated a court-issued protective order inside a shared residence. The violation followed more than 30 nonemergency calls to emergency services made within a one-week time frame.

Latisha Chevonne Creek, 53, of Chesapeake Beach, has been charged with violation of a protective order stemming from an incident reported on Dec. 1, 2025, according to law enforcement records. Officers were dispatched to a residence in Chesapeake Beach following a report that a peace order had been violated.

Police stated the peace order was issued on Nov. 8, 2025, against Creek and remains in effect through May 2026. Due to the involved parties residing in the same household, the order reportedly included specific stipulations prohibiting Creek from engaging in verbal contact or harassment of the protected party.

According to police reports, the victim told responding officers that on Dec. 1, she exited her bedroom when Creek allegedly opened the bedroom door and told her she needed to leave the home.

Law enforcement records also indicate that Creek has had frequent prior contact with emergency services. On Nov. 12, 2025, officers responded to a reported harassment call placed by Creek, who allegedly claimed a male was threatening her with a firearm. Creek reportedly told dispatch she had video evidence; however, police stated the footage showed her alone inside the residence, at one point closing a door herself before stating a gunshot had occurred. Officers advised her that no gunshot was heard or observed.

Additional records show that on Oct. 28, 2025, officers responded to a 911 hang-up call placed by Creek. She later allegedly told dispatch the call was not an emergency but that she wanted to report the identity of a “fake police officer.” After being warned about misuse of emergency services, Creek allegedly placed multiple additional nonemergency 911 calls that same day, resulting in her arrest for telephone misuse.

Police also documented multiple calls between Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, 2025, in which Creek repeatedly reported someone inside the home attempting to harm her. Officers responded several times and reported that no one was located inside the residence. During one of those encounters, deputies initiated an emergency petition, and Creek was transported to Calvert Health Medical Center for evaluation.

Authorities further stated that Creek placed at least 36 prior 911 calls, several of which were determined by police to be nonemergent. During an earlier interaction on Oct. 23, police reported that Creek called a deputy’s work phone 12 times after being provided contact information.

Creek is charged with violation of a protective order, a misdemeanor offense under Maryland law. If convicted, she faces a maximum penalty of up to 90 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000, according to state statute. Court proceedings are pending.
