The tournament, held at 10750 Southern Maryland Blvd., will feature men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles brackets, ranging in skill from 3.0 to 5.0. A junior beginner division for ages 9 to 16 will also be included.

Proceeds from the event will benefit End Hunger in Calvert County, a nonprofit organization focused on addressing poverty and food insecurity through community partnerships, workforce development, and food distribution.

Tournament schedule:

  • Friday, May 16 – Men’s and women’s singles, junior beginner brackets (12 p.m. start)
  • Saturday, May 17 – Men’s and women’s doubles (9 a.m. start)
  • Sunday, May 18 – Mixed doubles (9 a.m. start)

“This tournament isn’t just about pickleball—it’s about community,” said Brian Martin, CEO of Community Harvest Network and End Hunger in Calvert County. “We’re uniting neighbors and athletes around a shared goal: creating lasting change for families in need.”

Dr. Lynette Entzian, COO of Community Harvest Network, said the event is an opportunity to strengthen community ties. “Pickleball is the perfect blend of fun and fellowship,” she said. “By coming together on the court, we’re not only raising funds—we’re cultivating relationships, awareness, and the spirit of giving back.”

The event is free to spectators and will include food vendors, raffles, and information about local outreach initiatives.
