Charlotte Hall, MD— On July 31, Maryland State Police Trooper Manning responded to Three Notch Road in the area of Charlotte Hall for a report of a suspicious person.
When Manning arrived on the scene contact was made with the complainant, who stated he and his wife were traveling northbound on Leonardtown Road when he observed a female with a hooded jacket walk from the front driveway of a residence on Three Notch Road.ย ย
The female then went towards the Tender Care Dentistry, “with a pizza box under her arm,” according to charging documents.ย
The complainant advised he followed the suspicious person in his car over to Tender Care Dentistry and by the time he arrived in the parking lot the female got rid of the pizza box. The complainant then went back inside his residence and called the police.
The complainant advised he comes to the residence that the female was seen walking away from to occasionally cut the grass and clean the inside of the residence. While police were speaking with the complainant deputies were able to locate the female walking southbound on Leonardtown Road.
Manning observed the front glass portion of the door of the residence was smashed, a fresh slice of pizza was on the kitchen counter, two slices of pizza and beverages were in the refrigerator. There was also water residue in the bathroom shower and sink.
The complainant was able to walk through the house and advised that nothing was missing. Manning made contact with the suspect, Donna M. Bridges, 52, of no fixed who at first advised her name was Annie Williams, 56, of no fixed address.
Bridges was read her Miranda rights and waived her rights. She advised she walked from Arby’s in Charlotte Hall to the residence in question.
She also advised that she was carrying a box containing pizza, then stated it had Chinese food within the box, then stated it was pizza.
Bridges did advise that she did walk over to the Tender Care Dentistry, then she advised she just walked passed it. Bridges were advised conflicting information throughout the whole conversation.
Due to the nature of the incident and the probability of being unable to make contact with Bridges in the future due to her being homeless, she was placed under arrest and transported to the St.Mary’s County Detention Center.
