HANOVER, Md. —An exchange of gunfire between vehicles that left a bystander injured near Arundel Mills last month has led to four arrests, multiple search warrants, and the recovery of illegal firearms and drugs, Anne Arundel County police said.
The investigation began after a June 20 shooting at Arundel Mills Boulevard and Arundel Way, where a 21-year-old woman was struck in the upper body while inside an uninvolved vehicle. She survived her injuries.

Using surveillance footage, officers from the department’s Real Time Information Center identified a suspect vehicle later found unoccupied near the Meade Village community. After securing and processing the vehicle, detectives executed a search warrant and seized evidence linking it to the shooting.
Further investigation led police to identify three more suspects and four addresses—three in Meade Village and one in Baltimore City. On July 18, Western District detectives served search warrants at those locations, seizing several firearms, extended magazines, digital devices, over $5,600 in cash, more than 12 pounds of suspected cannabis, and about 31 grams of suspected PCP.

Among those arrested:
- Drameek Carlius Wallace, 25, of Glen Burnie, is charged with 12 counts of attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, assault, firearm offenses, and other related charges. Wallace remains held without bond.
- Davon Antoine Hughes, 27, also of Glen Burnie, was arrested during the Meade Village search and charged with multiple drug and firearm violations. He also remains held without bond.
- Jermaine Anthony Ricks, 39, of Severn, faces misdemeanor drug charges stemming from the July 18 raids. He was released on his own recognizance.
- A 15-year-old male from Severn was taken into custody. Police did not release further information due to the suspect’s age.
Detectives continue to investigate the motive behind the shooting. Police ask anyone with information to call Western District detectives at 410-222-6155 or the anonymous tip line at 410-222-4700.
