CLINTON, Md. – Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Clinton Monday night. The victim is 30-year-old Anthony Traevon Dawson of Clinton. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On May 12, 2025, at approximately 9:40 pm, officers responded to the 9800 block of Piscataway Road for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, they located the victim outside in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
