LA PLATA, Md. – Do you always trust your instincts when confronted with a problem? Do you have certainty? Or do you have doubt?
Perhaps the characters in John Patrick Shamley’s “Doubt: A Parable” struggled with that same dilemma. “Doubt: A Parable” is a a Pulitzer Prize winner and a Tony Award winning masterpiece. The play is set in a Catholic school in the Bronx. The year is 1964. The plot revolves around faith, uncertainty, suspicion and the destructive power of gossip.
When the lights dim at the end of the play, will you have certainty, or will you have doubt?
You will have to attend the PTP production to answer that question for yourself.
This production runs for 3 weekends from January 16 to February 1, 2026
Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm | Sundays at 3pm.
Tickets $18 for adults, $15 for seniors over 60, youth (through high school), and military with ID.
