SOUTHERN MARYLAND – Due to the anticipated snowstorm, all school systems in southern Maryland will be closed on Monday, January 6, 2025.
St. Mary’s County Public Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 6, 2025, with a Code 3 for employees. No employees should report to work. Administrative leave will be provided for twelve-month employees. Operations and Maintenance Emergency personnel will follow the established protocol.
Charles County public schools will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025. There is a Code Red for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) staff who follow the code system.
Calvert County Public Schools is closed on Monday, January 6, 2025. All after school and evening activities scheduled for Monday, January 6 are canceled. Code Red for employees.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, January 6. There will be no instruction for students. A Code Red is in effect for employees. Unit III personnel must report to their work locations as required.
Prince George’s County Public Schools and offices will be closed Monday, January 6. Code Red: The school system is closed for all personnel.
