MECHANICSVILLE, Md. – The Giant Yard Sale at Summerseat Farm is an annual tradition that provides the community with a marketplace of toys, kitchen tools, furniture, and many other items to purchase for a low price. Children, teens, adults, and yard sale hunters are all encouraged to attend this massive event for a morning of community shopping.
The Giant Yard Sale is being held on September 14th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The sale takes place on a Saturday to accommodate the traditional Monday-Friday workweek.
The Giant Yard Sale is still pricing its merchandise and accepting gently used items, so there’s still time to donate if you want to get involved with the St. Mary’s County community.

Although most common household items will be sold at this year’s event, exercise equipment and clothes are not being accepted as donations for 2024’s Giant Yard Sale.
The event is being held at Summerseat Farm, a location which hosts activities all year long. Other Autumn events at Summerseat Farm include the Artisan and Vendor Market on November 2nd and the Christmas Open House on December 7th.
