LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On Saturday, October 19, 2024 the St Mary’s Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace celebrated the building of their 1,000th bed to go towards their mission of “No Kid Sleeps on The Floor in Our Town.”

“All of our beds are delivered with a new mattress and new twin bedding-including a new pillow, pillowcase, new twin sheets, and new blanket or comforter to children ages 3-17 who do not have beds of their own in St. Mary’s County and Southern Calvert County.” To learn more about how to apply for a bed please go to https://shpbeds.org/apply
