ASSAULT – On October 9, 2014, Deputy Wesner responded to a residence on Kilbeggan Court in Great Mills, for a reported domestic assault. The victim alleged suspect Anthony James Cookson, 45, of Great Mills, struck the victim in the face with his fist. The victim was transported by ambulance to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injury to the face. Cookson was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.

ASSAULT – On October 12, 2014, Deputy Flerlage responded to a residence on Johnson Road in Hollywood, for a reported domestic assault. The victim alleged suspect Darleen Lyn Johnson-Taylor, 47, of Leonardtown, kicked the victim in the abdomen and hit the victim in the face during an argument. Deputy Flerlage observed fresh evidence of injury on the victim. Deputy Flerlage located Johnson-Taylor and placed her under arrest. She was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 2nd Degree Assault.

VIOLATION PROTECTIVE ORDER – On October 6, 2014, Deputy Logue made contact with the victim who alleged suspect Anthony Marico Wilson JR, 26, of California, called the victim 18 times from the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he is incarcerated. Wilson called the victim in violation of an active protective order. Wilson was charged with 18 COUNTS Violation Protective Order.

THEFT – On October 14, 2014, Deputy Roszell responded to Kmart located on Three Notch Road in California, for a reported theft in progress. Kmart employees observed a white male, wearing a white tank top, remove a television set from the packaging, then exit the store with without paying. Deputy Roszell saw a male suspect in the parking lot matching the description provided by store employees. He was identified as the suspect who stole the television. Suspect Martin Roland Abell, 38, of Valley Lee, was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Theft Under $1,000 and 2 COUNTS of Property Destruction.
