On February 1, 2011 at approximately 5:20 a.m., Deputy Croyle was conducting a patrol check of the parking lot of the senior’s apartments in Lexington Park.
Deputy Croyle discovered an occupied suspicious vehicle. Further investigation revealed a male was sleeping in the back seat of the vehicle. Deputy Croyle made contact with the individual. As Deputy Croyle was speaking with the individual she could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Deputy Croyle conducted a frisk of the subject for weapons and discovered a BB handgun concealed on his person. He was arrested for carrying a concealed dangerous weapon. When Deputy Croyle initially asked the subject his name he provided a false name.
A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a baggie containing suspected marijuana in the center console and an identification card identifying the suspect as Jeramey Kishan Bradshaw, Sr., 22 of Lexington Park. Bradshaw was charged additionally with giving a police officer a false name and possession of a controlled dangerous substance – suspected marijuana.
