On May 6 at 9:38 p.m., unknown suspect(s) approached the victim while he was walking in the area of Light Arms Place in Waldorf and struck him in the back of the head.
The victim fell to the ground and dropped his phone. He was able to get up and run from the scene.
One of the suspects was identified as Eric Lamont Figeroux Jr., 19, of Waldorf. Figeroux was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, robbery and possession of drugs.
This is the third time that Figeroux has been arrested in Southern Maryland in the past two years according to The BayNet records. You can see his previous arrests here:
