LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — The Mission in St. Mary’s County is inviting the community to its 7th Annual Mission Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department’s Braddock Hall, located at 46900 South Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the event begins at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $40 and remain available for purchase. The annual fundraiser directly supports The Mission’s fiscal year 2026 budget, which provides meals, shelter, and critical services for the homeless and working poor across St. Mary’s County.
Organizers said the event plays a vital role in funding the organization’s programs that serve individuals and families in need throughout the community. Guests can expect an evening of dinner, fellowship, and a silent auction featuring items donated by local businesses and supporters.
Tickets and donation links are available online at seekingshelter.com/product/mission-benefit and seekingshelter.com/product/make-a-donation.
For more information, contact event coordinator Brenda Myers at (760) 902-8648 or Brenda@seekingshelter.com. Organizers also extended thanks to the local organizations and sponsors whose contributions help make the event possible.
