If you’re a Lover of old school Rock n’ Roll, tax day this year may not be as bad as it could be… “The Anonymous”, is about to unleash their second album, “Dirty Secrets” at a special event tonight, Saturday April 15.

Tom Szynborski, Dave Fox and Brian Higgs describe themselves as veteran rockers, and have put the “Parental Advisory” stamp and barcode on their latest creation.
Szynborski says the band is looking forward to sharing some of their life experiences and observations through their music. From the single “What it Takes” – a tongue-in-cheek, Stonesesque rocker that highlights the qualities of some of society’s more determined individuals – to the soulful “Let it Play” – a look at the life of a Rock ‘n’ Roller – the album represents, as Szynborski put it, “a musical chronicle of the human condition.”
The music is energetic, and for the most part danceable; the guys have been slipping “Dirty Secrets”, “Rock Till I’m Dead” and “Odie’s Song”, a dedication to an old friend, into their repertoire for several years. For the folks that have seen their show, there are several new tunes including “Cyberjunkie” and “Slippin Away” that are soon to become Anonymous classics.
If you like cover music, do not despair! The show is laced with music from Nickleback, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Doors. “I couldn’t get through a show without belting out “L.A. Woman” for the encore!” confessed Szynborski.
The show will open with 9 Day Bender and their special brand of rowdy blues-based Rock. “‘Bender’ has been playing the local area for years,” said Tom, “and is always a crowd pleaser.”
The CD release party is being hosted at Neptune’s Beach Club, in St. Mary’s County just before the Solomon’s Bridge. Get there early – the first 50 patrons will receive a free copy of “Dirty Secrets” for their CD collection! Show starts at 9:00 p.m.
