Hughesville, MD – The Tri-County Animal Shelter is pleased to announce the following June monthly promotions and reminders:
Adopt a Shelter Cat Month (Wednesday, June 1- Thursday, June 30)
Consider providing a forever home for a cool cat at the animal shelter. During the month of June, adoption fees for kittens will be reduced to $30, adult cats to $20, and senior cats to $5.
Social Pet-working Month (Wednesday, June 1- Thursday, June 30)
Celebrate this special month by sharing a shelter pet’s photo on your social media page. Every Wednesday, Charles County Government features a shelter animal on Facebook (keyword: Charles County Government). Whether you have a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest, share a photo to save a life. National Dog Party Day (Saturday, June 18)
The shelter is celebrating canines with a beach party. You and your pet can enjoy snacks and refreshments, and have a beach photo taken together. Shelter animals will be available for adoption and the dog adoption fee is reduced to $100 on this special day.
Bark in the Park (Monday, June 27)
Join the shelter at the Bark in the Park event at 7 p.m. at the Regency Furniture Stadium (11765 St. Linus Drive, Waldorf). Support your local baseball team, and visit the Tri-County Animal Shelter table to meet adoptable pets and ask any animal-related questions.
