Maryland State Police are continuing their investigation into the identities of two persons whose bodies were found last month in a field near Route 40 in Aberdeen, Harford County.
On Sept. 15, troopers from the Bel Air Barrack were dispatched to Boyer Road off Chelsea Road, south of Aberdeen, after receiving a call from a man who had discovered what appeared to be human remains. Investigators and crime scene technicians examined the area and removed forensic evidence from the scene.
Later that same day, search teams discovered a second body near the first. Both bodies were discovered lying on top of the ground and were badly decomposed. Investigators are awaiting the results of forensic autopsies which are being conducted on the two bodies.
To date, the bodies have not yet been identified. The following items of clothing and jewelry, worn by one of the victims, a female, were found at the scene:
1) Gray, “Limited Too” brand, simulated leather jacket, size XXL.
2) Striped, long-sleeved, “Madison Studio” brand, button-down shirt.
3) One pair of dark, “Covington”, blue jeans, size 6, with a brown leather belt.
4) One pair of black athletic shoe with Velcro straps, size 7.5, marked, “Nancy”, model with, “Athletic Works”, logo.
5) One gold colored ring, with clear stones on the front and chevrons on the side with a band aide wrapped around the band.
6) One, Timex Indiglo”, watch with navy blue face, light blue compass dial, and blue weave Velcro wristband.
7) One silver metal ring marked, “India”.
8) May have worn dentures.
